LEADERSHIP
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the head of the church and continues to care for her, lead her, and shepherd her until he comes again. He chooses to do this through the elders and deacons of the church (1 Peter 5:1-4).
Minister
Peter Yoo was born and raised in Chicago, where he later studied at Moody Bible Institute and at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. In June 2022 Peter came to New Zealand, where he and his wife Jane have been happily married since April 2023. Peter accepted the call to serve as our minister in August 2024, and he's thankful to be able to serve Christ and His people in this way.
Elders
In our church we have elders who have responsibility to govern the church as well as care for the spiritual well-being of members.
Deacons
We also have deacons who seek to bring Christ's love to others in material ways.
